Instead of a "peaceful" divorce, the EU is doing everything they can to harm and punish GB. It's just like all the other nasty divorces. You just gotta to suck it up and ditch the evil ex! Maybe if the EU had stuck to Economic Policies and kept their noses out of the individual Countries other business, this wouldn't be happening.
