Too much money at stake for anybody to fold.
There are also ISIS and former Qadaffi people on the battlefield that have an opinion as well.
This is Syria, with less people involved and with the central government removed. Except that we are disinterested in it, for whatever reason.
I think we won't see an end to this for a long time.
