I think Dr. King's legacy is far too strong and resilient to be destroyed in one year by one president, even if that were his goal, which I think it isn't. Our system of checks and balances remains intact, and it is the best system designed so far. It continues to limit the powers of the Executive branch. We should not lose faith in the progress Dr. King made.
