Well, I personally believe a man of the cloth should be more sober-minded, but I'm also getting exhausted with the hyperbole.

I'll say this is figure of speech rather than a suggestion. However, after the 2020 election when Trump wins the Presidency again maybe some Dems. will take this path.

I must admit I love watching the melt down videos when the President won. I am sure Rachel Maddow will have another rough day.

I as well. The media was in total shock when learning that Trump won. They could not believe all their lies and support for Hillary failed. The looks on their faces and stumbling comments was hilarious.

People caught up in blind emotion are very literal. You cannot use metaphors. It goes right over their head.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Pardon me... idiom

"Go take a flying leap off the nearest building."

symbolic of telling someone who is being irritating or annoying (as in Trump hunting Democrats) to go away"

Maj John Bell - I am sure having one's perpetual corruption publicly exposed can be irritating.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - I am not aware that father Pizzo is corrupt or that father Pizzo is being exposed as corrupt.

I first heard a democrat say that they ought to impeach the President sometime in November 2016. After the election but prior to President Trump taking office. This is the longest a collective group of people have had the colic. Somedays it is funny other days we wish the cry babies would put a cork in it.

Agreed President Trump makes you cringe sometimes. I'd be happy to vote for someone else. How pathetic of all the potential candidates the DNC could put forward I can't help but prefer a cringeworthy known quantity.

Maj John Bell - Funny. Republicans were calling for Trump's impeachment since before the election, or so says the LA Times - "“The GOP needs to elect Trump, then impeach him,” wrote Jonathan Ashbach, a conservative writer for the Federalist, a right-wing online magazine, in October of that year." - LA Times, 23 Jan 2020 And apparently you forgot the eight years of the Obama administration if you want to talk "the longest a collective group of people have had colic" - See: Operation American Spring, among other calls for impeachment and/or forcible removal from office, so I understand your pain because it would have been nice for those "cry babies" to put a cork in it long before 2016. I guess what goes around comes around.

And I suppose when you put all your chips on the right-wing rhetoric and hyperbole, you are bound to make poor decisions, influenced more by your dislike of a person they have been telling you to dislike for a decade than any concern for what was best for the country. I mean, if she was so bad, you would think they could at least get an indictment.
