Combat engineer squads carried 90mm recoilless rifles as bunker busters in the '80s and '90s. I have no idea if they still do, it was fun to shoot and quite accurate out to a couple hundred yards.

CW5 Jack Cardwell
They all gone now except for some are still floating around in the SF world. One of the weapons I learned to work on in AIT.

We spent a lot of time on the 57 at SF weapons school, CW5 Jack Cardwell. I didn't like it much at all. It was heavy and cumbersome, and we mostly fired it off a tripod. Of the two, I much preferred the 90mm RR.
