Letting go of the rope is faster... but I wouldn't recommend it. Shooting skills may suffer.

What is the mission of the MEU? Seizing ports, land, speed bump for follow on forces, sustained fighting, taking advantage of momentum, defense?

MAJ Ken Landgren I Do have the Armed Forces "Expeditionary" Medal. Best I can Tell Expeditionary is Military Speak for Being in a War before they Declare it a War. Hopefully It Doesn't Get to that Point.
