"There’s no actual rule against walking on the grass".......there are Rules, and then unspoken Rules. NO ONE walks on the grass in either the Army or Marine Corps. Will you be taken to Courts Martial no...will your NCO's find ways to make life suck that much more? YES!!! I also like how he added "America’s toughest service"....good try at a dig on others. I guess he didn't get the memo about First in, Last out being Army.

While the article is written well, the author did forget something. Just because it is not against the service wide regulations, does NOT mean it is not against CO/BN/BDE/DIV policies. So sure, walk on that grass.....don't bother with that reflective belt.....go ahead and park in your 1SG's parking spot.....and re-iterate to them that it is not against the regs.
