We had those at Fort Hood. Put them up pretty fast. Just find a buddy with the other half.

And the US Army (of course )has a block of instruction on the proper spacing and alignment,tent poles,tent stakes,tent ropes,drainage etc did a few back in 1966 Ft Lewis,of course that was all shelved on our arrival in Vietnam,poncho tents sprung up like weeds,commo wire was the only other essential part of construction,making sure the hood of the poncho was tied and sealed was another essential part ,all bets were off in the Monsoon!
