Might be better for the 2nd for Trump to win re-election and RBG to be replaced with a conservative. If the court was to hear cases on the 2nd now there is a good chance it would be ruled against. Replacing RBG does not guarantee a win, but would certainly better the odds. On the other hand if Trump loses and RBG gets replaced with another liberal we really haven’t lost anything.
