Gullibility? I'm not sure I'd take her word for much of anything. She's a known crackpot. Some of her greatest claims:

"Barack Obama uses neuro-linguistic programming to exercise mind control over people at his rallies"

HIV doesn't cause AIDS

An anti-vaccination advocate

Looking into Harvey Risch...

He seems a bit more solid but the article starting with Jane Orient doesn't give me much confidence.

The fact is that there are dueling studies and I'm not sure there are any among us on RP that really have the ability to tell what's what outside of a political lens.

LCpl Brad Gross feel free to resort to shamans then? I dunno man. I’d still put my faith in a political scientist over a pseudoscientific politician any day. Let me ask you this: why are you so quick to dismiss the scientists who say things you don’t like but so quick to embrace the fewwww who tell you what you want to hear?

LCpl Brad Gross that’s not a new thing. At all. And it’s not strictly a left thing either. You have to admit he’s said and done some pretty indefensible things and still had people lining up to defend him. Same same, just comes down to tribalism.
