The USPS is effing corrupt as hell. They turned off 700 mail sorting machines and internal memos indicate they will not be turned back on. With two people a mailing machine can sort 30,000 pieces of mail. Doing it by hand will entail 30 people. This goes counter to their mantra of cost savings. We are supposed to be a bastion for democracy but the USPS scandal is so third world dictator shit.

The USPS not only eliminated nearly 700 sorting machines but they reduced overtime and contemplated not making ballots first class mail. This is a systematic approach of making mail in ballots more inefficient. This is like a restaurant who fires a cook, waitress, and a manager that are needed. Not one step was taken to improve operations. There will be a degradation in the restaurant's operations.

Regarding Mail-In Voting:
You don't need a public mailbox on the corner to send mail. You can send mail from any valid mailing address. So you know, like your own mailbox (that's what the red flag on your mailbox is for- tells the mailcarrier that there is outgoing mail) or from any business, hotel, government office, etc.
This is just a distraction and a lie. Besides, the USPS has been running at a BILLION+ dollar deficit for decades.
If you are so trusting of the USPS, I urge you to send me check for whatever amount you can afford, and when I receive it, I will send you that same amount back in cash, via USPS 1st Class Mail.

Bull. I have "informed delivery" where I get an image of the mail pieces that are supposed to be delivered that day. Although I am still getting the images, it has been over a week since I have received any mail.
