AMEN First Sergeant. We need stability and my husband said It should have been Pence in The White House and NOT Captain Blue Falcon/ Captain Fake Bone Spurs. This WV gal is voting qualified and had been researching candidates that give a rat's Arse about our nation, our responders and Servicemen and servicewomen. If the Laws and Bills were written in Braille and Large fonts-I would run for office.
Would love to see more veterans in office who KNOW the true price paid by all of us-Combat, training injuries, what we need for Medical and then maybe some of the WarHawks would get their feathers plucked-we are spread too thin and losing too many to suicide and one is ONE TOO MANY so I am praying for our country, my Brothers and Sisters in Uniform-be it Military, Firefighter, Police Officer, Doctor/Nurse/Medic in the field and on the streets of our cities.

You would be surprised how many have blocked me over the last 3 months. Over 2 years here and because I support Trump, even though I detest his personality, blamo - blocked. Happened today when someone called a republican a cunt and I asked why.

Getting emotionally invested in politics leads to this behavior. However, taking the high road every single time has only emboldened people more. So now I call out what I see as opinions being peddled as facts.

SSgt (Join to see) - Hey, we are humans, we feel, eat, sleep and live under the stars on the same planet. Maybe if ALL of us veterans got together, ran for office in our cities, state and Federal Government, then things would change because we KNOW the price of War, the value of live and we have the scars on our bodies and heart that show our knowledge. I'd run for office if the Bills and other materials were in LARGE fonts and or Braille so I could examine them more closeup. I got unfriended for being disabled and trying to get others to understand my opinions so I can learn why they feel as they do. Blocking you-NAH, that is NOT going to happen. Besides one of my best friends is an SSGT and we are talking smack like all Brothers and Sisters do-the military is ONE big family: we laugh, cry and kick butt together and if you come for one of us-YOU GET ALL OF US and RallyPoint is one of the biggest groups and we show that Family is much more than blood ties-it is all of us together and that bond is military.

PFC Pamala (Hall ) Foster - Unfriended for being disabled?! I don't get that. We are all human. We all bleed red. Ability, skin tone, height, weight, sexuality, etc are just excuses people make when they refuse to get out of their own comfort zones. Forcing others to change to be more like you (not you specifically, the general use of you) is another path of not getting out of one's own comfort zone.

I admire people who do not make excuses and step out and do it anyways. One of my favorite Chinese Proverbs is: Man who says it cannot be done should stay out of way of man doing it.

SSgt (Join to see) Many hate facing mortality and how fragile life is...I am starting to learn that how others treat me is NOT my fault and that they are the losers for not taking time to know me. Besides, we eat, sleep and are here by grace of God as my mom says. The proverb is very true.
