Preventive Maintenance! I set up a program at Ft. Rucker for the ~350 TVs used as video monitors for the Weathervision system. The failure rate in the field quickly plummeted. To the point that when I asked for a couple hours off to work on my car I was given a week on the condition that they could find me if there were any problems. We were almost a full cycle ahead of schedule when I was transferred to Alaska.
