We did not need this misery in 2020. The USG did not listen to the AAR from 2005. It figures! Both sides are to blame.
Asking for ID makes sense. All other Democratic nations ask for it. Only the progressives say it is wrong. Liberal Canada asks for ID.

To be honest I don't think anything would have stopped what happened this year. As far as we can tell from evidence the election went off pretty well. When Trump lost he was going to make his fraud claims no matter what controls were in place.

The problem with voter ID is that the GOP uses it to disenfranchise voters, such as the Lakota and Dakota Sioux who live on the Rez. They were prevented from voting because the state would not accept tribal IDs. (They do now, after a federal lawsuit and settlement).

LTC (Join to see) I say again: if Mexico can issue Voter Identification Cards, why cannot the United States? I didn’t really believe they did until a gardener allowed me to take a photo of his. And, he lives and works in America!
