Couldn’t help myself, 1SG (Join to see). I live it! My wife is a shoe fanatic and has been for our 41 years of marriage! Unlike Ferdinand though, I’ve paid for her shoes all by myself! :)

I remember the summer of 73, I was returning from the states and heading back to Kadena. A typhoon rolled through there and closed the air base. My plane was diverted to Manila and we spent the night there. The next morning we we loaded on a bus back to the airport. The city streets was just about empty and troops on every corner, it didn't look very safe to me but we made it back to the airport and headed for okinawa. It wasn't long after that all hell started to break out and a few months later Marcos was out of office,
