SFC Casey O'Mally actually the founding fathers told us specifically what the militia was and what their responsibilities for mandatory training and equipment were in the Militia Acts of 1792.

SFC Michael Hasbun - You kind of make my point. "Well regulated" wasn't about restricting or controlling guns. It was about making sure every citizen had MILITARY GRADE weapons available for use.

SFC Casey O'Mally and attended regular, mandatory drill.
Americans today want the guns, but not the mandatory training and responsibilities to go along with them.

SFC Michael Hasbun - We used to have gun training in schools... until the 60s and 70s when we decided that guns were bad. (Ref: 1968 Omnibus Crime Bill).

Most Gun owners are more than happy with be required to be responsible gun owners. As a matter of fact, the overwhelming majority of legal gun owners ARE responsible gun owners.

Pro-second Amendment folks are NOT anti-training or anti-responsibility. They are anti-infringement.

I don't think the executive order will stand up in courts, as it tramples states rights. The Feds are trying to take powers not spelled out in the Constitution as Federal Powers. I am no legal expert, but I am not going to be surprised if this gets overturned. Also I can't recall when an executive order over ruled an amendment. It takes a lot of ducks in a row for that one to stand.

As recent events have shown us, the courts and legal system are nearly useless. We are not going to vote our way out of this.

Still doesn't explain how he will stop criminals from killing people! Notice I didn't say how they were killing people because when you are unarmed and they have a knife what will the victim fo? The victim will die!
