Excellent training film MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. , reminds me of some that we had in basic.

This reminds me of the Public Service Announcements that we had to run at the AFRTS TV station at Ft. Greely. We received a bunch of the from the Mormon Church about VD. they showed nice people doing everyday things, but the tagline was 'VD is for everyone', meaning that you couldn't tell by looking at someone. I had barely run the first one, when the phone rang. It was our Chaplin, demanding that I toss these into the trash. I told him that I had to use them, because they were in the schedule. He made such a huge stink over it, that I ran those 16mm films until they were worn, scratched and falling apart. I never met him. He was Catholic, and I wasn't. I didn't hear anything good from non Catholics about him, and the hours that I worked didn't allow me the time, without losing more sleep. I couldn't see how a shot of a couple wiith some well dressed kids walking down the street could be so offensive, or the warning about VD.
