Mars’ temperature and seismic vibrations recorded by NASA InSight Lander

Good early afternoon my Brothers and Sisters from the blustery & chilly skies of Fort Myers as a cold front moves through our area of SW Florida...
Today, I bring you a great short video snapshot from the Insight Lander on Planet Mars..., where among other things, it takes the temperature of Mars at its location (both the high and the low in degrees Centigrade... (To convert temperatures in degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 1.8 (or 9/5) and add 32.) The Insight Lander also takes and records seismic vibrations... At about 2:09 mins in the video there is a 7-day reading displayed on the screen and the highest recorded temperature for that period was -9°C or 15.8°F and the lowest temperature for that period was -74°C or -101°F... ( Remember that the lander is located at 4.502384°N, 135.623447°E at an elevation of −2,613.426 m with respect to the geoid in Elysium Planitia.) It is a a little cooler on Mars than any of us would like... LOL!
The Insight Lander is also accumulating a lot of Martian dust on its solar arrays. Today, InSight’s solar arrays are producing just 27% of their dust-free capacity. That power has to be shared between science instruments, a robotic arm, the spacecraft’s radio, and a variety of heaters that keep everything in working order despite subfreezing temperatures. Since the windiest season of the Martian year has just ended, the team isn’t counting on a cleaning event in the coming months.

We need to “seed” Mars with some kind of plant or Algiers that can exist in that climate and exhale oxygen to make it’s atmosphere livable. It may take a long time.

Thank you for your comments SSG Edward Tilton. The entire process of terraforming Mars has been very well thought out and the step you mentioned is one of those steps in the process... Yes, it will take time, but not as long as some people think... The Martian atmosphere is mostly Carbon Dioxide (CO2), so there are a number of processes to break the CO2 down into Carbon and Oxygen, of which the Oxygen can be used for breathing and as a fuel... There is also plenty of water Ice in MARS' craters and below the surface in addition to the water ice at the poles... The water ice can be processed into Hydrogen and Oxygen of which, both can be used for fuel and the Oxygen used for both breathing and Fuel...
Plant life would first be grown in habitats to produce, not only food, but oxygen for breathing... and that is another component of the terraforming process along with providing food for astronauts... It is all kind of exciting in my view...
