Rare 'Double Eagle' gold coin sells for a record $18.9M

It appears any other double eagle coin other that this one is considered stolen by the federal government. Look like 1933 was a turbulent time, my grandparents were married 14 years at this time raising 4 children, one of whom died. It was truly a different world.
