I am sick and tired of any government agency at any level constantly sticking their nose in where it does not belong. I realize there is a time and place for some government regulations, but recently it has become absurd.
Why do we keep electing these wanna-be dictators to office? Why not term limits on all elected officials?
After seeing how the current administration is handling the Afghanistan issue I think you can reasonably assume the inmates are running the asylum.
God Save Us All.

SSgt Stephen Bramham it’s especially disingenuous that Abbot, a man who belongs to a party that has as one of its core beliefs the idea of minimizing government intervention in private lives, has gone on such a spree of banning things while simultaneously more or less running an express lane to death row

They talk about Biden while supporting this. Give me a break. Abbott is making Putin proud.

Gov Abbott's idea of making social media start playing fair is an excelent idea. I wish that more states would do the same. It's high time that the states start taking back state power and tell the fed to go pound sand.

Denial of access to all forms of information is in keeping with the best the NAZI type mindset has to offer. With the word NAZI being thrown around like a wet used dish rag these days, the heated rhetoric is what is dangerous. Those from the extreme RIGHT or extreme LEFT have managed to introduce FEAR and ANGIST into the culture. That makes ALL of them NAZIs!!!

Every day, I have conversations with honest hard-working people who just want what is right. Of course, what is right is often interpreted in the eye of its beholder. But for me it is about "...blind justice..." and not justice at the point of sword, or from the Bully pulpit of mega-media.

The language of the Constitution and other documents is clear, at least to me, as I share below:

"We the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union..." request and require access to information that is uncensored and more importantly factual. Factual so that the single tread of truth we are seeking can be found throughout the many opinions and conjectures compiled to influence us when we approach researching any topic we desire to be 'enlightened' so that we can make an 'informed' decision'.

We desire this so that as we can better understand how to help our elected officials "...establish justice..." we can attain unto ourselves those "...certain unalienable rights..." "...that among them are..." the right to live my "...Life..." in such a manner as to lift up and cherish every human soul with whom we am blessed to engage so that the "...Liberty..." we have will help us advance the delicate balance of "...domestic tranquility..." because we are able to sit in "...peaceable assembly..." with my brothers and sisters to develop in our minds, hearts and spirits a "...High-level Mind Set..." that will seek to "...promote the general welfare..." so that in doing me can collectively with others "...provide the common defense...".

A "...common defense..." that uses the mind's speed of thought to identify and properly react to the threats that emanate from "...all enemies both foreign and domestic..." who threatens our ability to enjoy the "...blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity..." because to be part of a great nation that seeks to offer a few elected to a form of "...Government...instituted among men (i.e. other human beings),..." that "...derives their just (perhaps at times unjust) powers from the consent of the governed..." we have to believe that such as a "...government of the people, for the people, and by the people..." must "...endure..." when we smart enough, wise enough, and strong enough to resist the quips and shallow thoughts of those who are well schooled in the art and science of well-rehearsed propaganda so they can exercise 'control' because they weak and too afraid or cowardly to choose a different path.

In closing, the matter is therefore the simple complexity of life and the duality of many arguments where we are tied to our opinions and our perspectives from our own ignorance and fear. When we cannot ask tough questions and responses are dismissed and not seriously discussed how can any of us trust what is being shoved at us?

Unfortunately, when the mega-media (i.e., FB, Twitter, Truth Social, etc.) are NOT transparent and someone or some small group of unnamed, unknown, self-appointed moralist/ethicist to their own dogma are making decisions about what information I choose to accept or reject, they are NOT honoring the expectation that the "...Congress (or even a State Legislature)..." will then "...make no law...prohibiting the free exercise...of speech...". I might add "...the free exercise of...(responsible)...speech...".

When the voice of the few in politics and the mega-media are louder than the collective voices of > 332.4 million inhabitants of the USA as of 01 Jan. 2022 then "We the people..." have lost control of the process of that "...government of the people, for the people and by the people...". We also cannot riot nor take actions that promote insecurity or violence threatening others, we cannot stay on the sidelines either. We must vote and send a message that we want FREEDOM from the excesses that government can legislate when "We the people..." are asleep at the wheel.

So, what choice will you make and encourage your friends and family to make as 2026 looms on the national horizon regarding the complexity of the issues that will be afoot in the 2022 elections? Will you be thoughtful or emotional when you - VOTE?
