I was working the JOC when the Syrian rebels first engage ISIS. They did not do well at all. Most of them made it clear they didn't join the fight ISIS. They joined to fight Assad. So the ones that weren't killed left before even engaging ISIS and joined other rebel forces with the weapons and training we gave them. Our success against ISIS had nothing to do with the rebels and everything they do with our own engagements. These guys are so unqualified for their positions.
