There is a petrified wood/forrest in Honduras near my Mom's town . Must have been from the yucatan meteor impact that killed the dinosaurs 80 million years ago? I have a sample at home used as a door stopper. PFC David Foster Cpl Vic Burk

I just got back to Canada and my wife pointed out where the Petrified Wood was. You could see that it does still look like wood. I put the glasses there for scale.

That's pretty old.... more than a hundred million years before the dinosaurs I think.... that's old... Cpl Vic Burk Mr. Burk is so old, he grew up in the petrified forest of New Zealand when the trees were saplings 180 million years ago...
