Quite frankly, I'm quite content with California's effort to create their own utopian Hell. But here's the rub, quite often their utopian Hell has spillover effects that affect interstate commerce. And to be honest if we knocked off the overbroad interpretation of the commerce clause, I'd be happy. But if a rule is in effect for one, it should be in effect for all.

California is creating its own separate rules for livestock farming, fine. But then it demands that farmer's operating outside California conform to those rules if they want access to the California market. The net effect is that it will drive up the price of food in EVERY state.

California is regulating small off-road engines out of existence. I'm sorry but battery-operated chainsaws are not practical for commercial logging. The net effect is that it will drive small operators, more ecologically friendly operations, out of the logging business. Large logging machines leave huge footprints on the forest floor. Plus, the large operators with big machines are less selective about what they cut. The tree huggers will go wild, logging operations will be shut down and the demand for wood outside of California will drive the price up.

California is imposing new emissions laws for private and commercial vehicles made, sold, and operating in the state. That means a long hall trucker delivering a load from King's Bay GA will have to meet California emissions standards if he once in his entire trucking career gets called upon to deliver a load to Barstow, CA. Personally, I hope he just drives his stuff to the CA border, loosens the load and does a Brodie slide to dump the load in a heap and the Californians can form a bucket brigade to load it onto their electric golf carts with lithium batteries.

That's easy, because Trump wants to be President again in 2024 and he wants all the power...

He lies when he attacks others and lies when he defends himself. I rue the thought of him getting 4 more years. In totality, Trump was an epic failure as a president. He will wreck the country due to his scorch earth leadership style.
