Interesting questions, but you're never going to get the real answer for this partisan committee. We're never going to see the communications between Pelosi and the Capital police and why their requests for more bodies BEFORE Jan 6 were turned down or why the National Guard was turned down to assist. The only thing the committee is looking for is more ways to try and blame everything on Donald Trump.

This topic, the January 6, 2021 event, has been spun so much by the right it is unrecognizable.
This was a violent action with the goal of stopping the legal certification of the 2020 Presidential election. No other name for it.
Sadly, there are still conservative reactionary radicals out there determined to destroy our election system.
