Lt Col Charlie Brown Everywhere you go employers are screaming for help in my area. They can't get anyone. They would rather leach off of the government. Total lack of work ethic for so many these days.

Unfortunately when they pay employees more to stay home than they would make going to work only those who are compulsive workers will actually show up at work for less pay. In my home state, many hospitals are paying new hire bonuses of $2000. You just have to work for six months to get your two grand. Then they quit and move to a new clinic or hospital to get another new hire bonus. Some nurses are on third or fourth new hire bonus.

SGM Joel Cook - I think they need to raise the minimum work period! Six months is nothing.

Very true and a lot of employers have a shortage of workers as nobody want to work anymore. Some have shut down other lost a lot of business This is information from ACTUAL employers that I do deal with and it's not that job's aren't out there, they are. The economy is being destroyed and along with no workers higher cost for everything with massive inflation to add to the problem.

Problem is the economy seems to be humming along quite nicely.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen massive inflation and supply chain shortages that hit disproportionately hits small businesses (Walmart and Amazon can pay for "priority service) is not "humming along quite nicely."

Actually it was Trump who imposed the lock down on business. Biden just brought a record number of people back to work after that lockdown.

The monkey wrench probably belonged to CornPop or one of his cronies, but he leaves a path of destruction wherever he treads.
