PO1 Tony Holland Troubling to Hear, I Served with the Chucky V Battle Group in Desert Strike in 96. My Son in Law served on the Chucky V.

PO1 Tony Holland As you most likely know, the most dangerous place on an aircraft Carrier is the Flight deck. In my 23 year in the Navy, I served on three Carriers, and witnessed one very deadly flight deck incident on the USS Coral Sea CV-43 which killed the pilot and the RIO. Thanks Tony for the story. I had not heard of this incident.
