Gun rights group sues to stop groundbreaking San Jose gun law

There will be some that say "You have to have insurance to drive a car." Star fruit and Collard greens; Driving is a privilege, to Keep and Bear Arms is a Constitutional Right. Forcing someone to pay for liability insurance is an attempt by San Jose to abnegate that Right, in the name of Gun Control.

Heller. In Heller, the court held that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess and carry weapons for self-defense. In 2010, the court's decision in McDonald v. City of Chicago extended the Heller ruling to the states.Nov 8, 2021
From what I read and see in the news, it appears, an overwhelming majority of crimes committed with firearms are done so by felons who are not suppose to have firearms. Perhaps, I am missing something SGT?
