I recall during the 1950's street thugs relied on switch blade knives and a firearm called a zip gun which was a homemade weapon.

Assuming most of the guns manufactured in the US and/or abroad are for legal purposes, how do "legal guns" suddenly become "illegal guns" and flood the streets? This of course doesn't apply to ghost guns... I'm a legal gun owner and I do my best to ensure my guns remain secure.
