But the supposed statistical racial disparities that are being used to conduct a racial witch hunt against the bogeyman of systemic racism in the military ignores the biggest racial disparity.
The suicide rate among white soldiers is 20.2 out of 100,000 person years and 12.8 among black soldiers. Suicide is the real indicator of high stress and nearly every group in the military, such as Hispanics at 16.0 and Asians at 21.5, have a higher suicide rate than black people.

Interesting... So in realty what your eluding to Lt Col, is somehow, someway, in this vast universe of knowledge and the past 40-70 years of social engineering... The Caucasian race suffers more acutely from stress in a negative manner that results in suicide rates exceeding other races on this planet...
Think about it Lt Col Charlie Brown . I'm curious about how these issues maybe related to educational knowledge as well... because what it also leads me to believe is the Caucasian race has been drug upon the preverbal carpet over being...well... racist... by one specific political party and the far left liberal peasants, especially over the past decade.
Conning terms like "White Privilege's" "White Empowerment's" that the mass media has accomplished lately in order to catch the readers attention and sell whatever the media is trying to sell... the subluminal message crap inotherwords.
So in theory, using logic like I have brought out, with the Caucasian race being more intelligent, evident by racial guarantees forced upon the Caucasians by pollical powers for education and employee hiring by the private industry, that race, the Caucasians, suffer from more of... a subconscious?
Caucasian's therefore, commit suicide more often that other races because? They have a conscious that leans far more to the heart and respecting the value of all life other than their own?
Its like... Caucasians will sacrifice their own selves because over the past 40 years, they have been conditioned and demeaned by government and the educational school system that they are now less than acceptable to society only because of the so called "natural skin color selection at birth?"
Other than Orientals rates being higher... I'm thinking atomic weapons development and its usage upon that race has had a very long lingering factor why they might be higher.
IMHO for every cause, there are affects... good bad indifferent... but when a government exceeds a normalcy in its laws used to keep the peace in any society...I think your getting closer to finding a better answer why some things happen... and the education, primary, secondary and higher plays a critical role.
Tell a child they are bad, worthless and a racist from birth...and I guarantee you by the time they are in their teens... They will be.

Of course I would say that being suppressed and long attributed to being held in servitude and slavery conditions, the black race suicidal rate for blacks being 20.2% out of every 100,000 could be attributed to that. Then... if the Caucasian was only 12.8 % we could say because "white privilege's" have made the lives of Caucasians much easier and stress free.
But that's not what was reported in the article. Lt Col Curtis was it? Nor did it say that Hispanics were at 21.4 nor Orientals at 16.0... Changing the conversation from the original numbers pointed out, did solve the problem did it? All it did was toss cannon fodder on the runway.
I am still curious Lt Col Charlie Brown if modern day education over the past decades has created these stressors that are killing our military vets and active duty members. I wasn't trying to attribute anything to you, I was conversing about the situation and cause and affects... and possibly stir your thought process to the educational system.

What is the historical record of suicides in the military? Year by year, from 1940 forward? Especially when the services were integrated racially. Then say a comparison by the decades, then when at war and when not at war.
Then you can add the race issue and the skin color and see what has historically happened... But Ill bet that the solider, airman, marine and naval individuals education is going to play a part...especially over the past 2 decades...
