I really miss the wine tours we had access to while stationed at Ft. Lewis. I'm not a huge wine guy, but we found some amazing wine/conversations with the smaller wineries. We would sit down on the weekends and plan Saturday winery road trips. We did a Yakima Valley one that had a great brewery for lunch and a wine break. The coolest one was island hoping in the NW of Washington from winery to winery.

I used to have 2 week TDYs to the finger lakes region of NY, winery road trips were part of that weekend between weeks.

Maj (Join to see) - Yes! Great conversation starter when friends visit. Fun movie, as is the book. The *judgement* forever changed the wine industry. Put California wines on the map and gave the Australians, Chileans and other countries the mindset —> if California can do it, why not us also. Lived, worked and USAR-ed in Silicon Valley for many years so got to enjoy NorCal and SoCal.

CPT (Join to see) - One of my favorites. I only heard about it because I was out in Napa and Sonoma just after it came out and they had posters everywhere. You can't go wrong with Alan Rickman, either.
