(02 2022) Video clips. An Idaho boy who was born without limbs, Bowen Toomey, 13, has discovered a love for snowboarding and his perseverance is inspiring those around him. Bowen was able to try this new experience at Brundage Mountain Resort through the help of nonprofit organization Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall (AWESOME).
“It’s been going good so far, it’s been spectacular,” Bowen told the outlet. “It feels fantastic out there on the runs!” He noted that he wanted to embark on a sports challenge he had yet to experience.
Bowen was adopted as a young child from Serbia.
