GOP torn as Greene speaks to far right amid 'Putin!' chants

Republican leaders in Congress are torn over what to do with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after the congresswoman spoke at a weekend event organized by a white nationalist who marveled over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the crowd erupted in chants of “Putin!”
House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy called the congresswoman’s speech on the same stage “unacceptable.” Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said “there’s no place in the Republican Party for white supremacists.”
Yet it’s unclear whether Greene will face any further reprimand or rebuke for what is now an ongoing pattern of startling behavior. McCarthy had previously suggested the Georgia congresswoman, who is now barred by Democrats from committees, would enjoy a promotion i f Republicans take control of the House.

She spoke at the America First Political Action Conference and said she did not know they were white supremacists. Did she? I don't know what is in her head or her knowledge base. I do remember her saying that Democrats failed to condemn the violence and looting of last summer after Pelosi said this on the floor of Congress, "We support peaceful demonstrations. We participate in them. They are part of the essence of our democracy. That does not include looting, starting fires, or rioting. They should be prosecuted. That is lawlessness." The fact that McConnell and McCarthy both condemned what she did tells me a great deal about her speaking there.

Consider the source people... AP would consider the Founding Fathers as far right, despite the Constitution & Bill of Rights representing a middle of the road compromise!!!
