In the RV community the cheap Chinese tires that come with fifth wheels and travel trailers are known as China bombs.

A lot of the vehicles that have been abandoned show at least one missing tire, those Chinese Michelin knock offs could be part of the issue.

Knock offs are not usually as good as the original.
