PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I read that Kubrick never told Slim Pickens that the movie was a comic satire, so Pickens played his Major "King" Kong role straight, which ratcheted up the hilarity. And his role was supposed to be Sellers' fourth role in that movie, but he opted out of doing it.
