Geez, just use stinking beef chicken or pork. What's the big problem, why do we have to use this exotic foods. Soon they'll be making us eat grounded up cockroaches, beetles, spiders, etc..., yuck. I remember when I was a Tac Officer at ROTC Advanced Camp, they wanted to charge me an outrageous fee for an MRE. So I went to the PX and bought a bunch of ravioli, lasagna and other pre-made prepackaged foods. You should have seen all the cadets that wanted to trade their main entree for one of my little MRE meals.
