If you took the ASVAB, you have been IQ tested. Interesting to note that, for the Marine Corps, the Electronics score is one of the main scores used for selection to OCS or officer training. The EL score is indicative of logic, reasoning, and critical thinking ability. Not sure if the other services give it the same emphasis.

When the max was 135, I scored 128 and only met one person that scored higher. He was my NCOIC for a while, one of the best I had.

I've known many who have been blessed with high IQ's and/or talents, who are dumber than a sack of bricks. I've known many college educated idiots that I wouldn't trust to tie their own shoes. Worst of all, are the willfully ignorant. Those with the brains to know better but allow themselves to be led by their noses to the worst ends.
