Great article, well written about a USMC GySgt who was a MOH recipient. It was a treat to read about a USMC GySgt and meeting a retired USMC Major Pickens today. The MAJ said he moved up the ranks to GySgt, to CW4, and then retired as a USMC Major. RIP Gunnery Sergeant. Oh, I saluted the USMC Major for his service in combat in Vietnam. What an honor to meet him.
