MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. This soldier is one of the most heroic MOH awardees that I have ever heard about. What tops off the award is that he was never wounded in any and all his heroic episodes which saved many lives in battle! Thus, he was never awarded the purple heart as he himself was never wounded in any of his multiple, very brave, lifesaving actions of his comrades. Hand salute to this very brave soldier and may he rest in peace.
