This constant violating of state election laws needs to stop.

Man, I need to register to vote in Illinois. Then I can wait to see the election results and send in a ballot the next day! And if my guy lost by a couple thousand, just mobilize and go door to door getting folks to vote for my guy. I mean, I will already know exactly how many votes I need to find.

As Finance Officer of our Post here in Cedarburg, I wrote out a $500 check to support our Legion Baseball Team almost a year ago, July 28, 2021. They got it yesterday. How many mail in ballots never get counted? While I am concerned about votes counted that shouldn't be, I am also concerned about votes not getting counted. The idea of having a partisan person or group (Dem or Rep) decide elections rather than voters is abhorrent to me

Simple solution. Vote in person.

Yes, I understand, absentee voters CAN'T vote in person. But that is an exceptionally small number.

For everyone else, if you are worried about your vote getting there in time, go to the polls yourself. Problem solved.

And for the folks who DO have to vote absentee, simply certifying the mail gives you a tracking number and signature verification that it was received. It costs about $2. Well worth it to guarantee your vote counts, IMHO.

The only time I haven't voted in person is when I was deployed
