Not a bad policy but the act of loading and moving the very equipment you trained with has its own value to the force. Logistics can be a perishable skill too.

But, of course, there is nothing to worry about. We are leaving the tanks behind just in case the North Koreans decide to attack -- that way we can arm the North Koreans to face the Taliban.

The only question is whether we have abjectly given up on defending South Korea or if we hope to have time to deploy another Task Force Smith
