The city of Edmonton is putting this Museum in peril.
I will go see this Museum again this week. I have been there three times in the last 15 years.

It's a shame that the city seems to favor real estate value over historical value. I've got a little experience with operating a city owned facility. We were a non-profit that operated the city owned aquarium but the city recognized the tourism value associated with the facility. They were always looking at alternative uses for things like our parking lot but in the end realized changes would not be good for the bottom line of the city.
