PO1 William "Chip" Nagel
"What happened to Takashi Inoue after the crash?
After the crash near Fujinomiya, he was arrested by Japanese authorities and held for 26 days in solitary confinement at a police detention facility, interrogated multiple times a day and was not given a medical treatment or evaluation, according to a statement of facts provided by a family spokesman."

That's sad. It sounds like we're not protecting our service members from charges that are truly accidental and then get Marines and other service number out in the country before they get charged for other worse things. It's no wonder our relations in Okinawa are strained. This verdict is just a symptom of our poor leadership and management of personnel stationed in Japan.
