In fact, LTC Trent Klug, Cardinal Richelieu is attributed with the invention of the table knife (at least according to this Wikipedia article).

Assault weapons! Everyone thinks of guns but if you are assaulted the attackers weapon of choice becomes an assault weapon. This is why the democrats cannot tell you what an assault weapon is so they can ban them.
