Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that his country's forces have driven out the last Russian troops from the city of Lyman in Donetsk, one of four provinces Moscow moved to illegally annex last week. "Lyman is cleared completely," Zelensky said in a brief address to Ukrainians. Burned-out Russian tanks and armored vehicles line roads leading into Lyman. Both sides reportedly suffered heavy casualties in the fight for the city. The advances in Donetsk marked Ukraine's latest battlefield victory since Kyiv launched an eastern counteroffensive in September, seeking to reclaim Russian-occupied areas. Ukraine has also made gains in the south, where its forces are slowly advancing toward the strategically important city of Kherson.

It seems at this point that Russia has become the largest supplier of Military equipment for Ukraine with over 1,000 tanks that were still operational and left behind, over 5.300 Military Vehicles intact. Massive multi ton quantities of ammunition , explosives artillery pieces and shells for firing. That's not even taking into account the thousand more of Russian equipment destroyed and 50,000 Russian soldiers killed or wounded and the number may be much higher. 246 Russian aircraft destroyed, Russian soldier surrendering in mass. Within five days Ukraine has driven the Russian military out of most the area the Russians had taken driving thes invaders of their country into massive retreats.

This has been a war of wits stimulated by the President of Ukraine and his ability to rally the countries of the world to support him and his country as well as the financial resources to maintain weaponry, ammunition and bombs as well as jets, tanks and more... Russia, via Putin started this diabolical war to expand their territory to what was once the USSR! Putin will not stop with Ukraine, but will add the other Baltics States... We are on the edge of Russia adding low yield nuclear weapons and that could escalate to World War III! It needs to stop and perhaps if Ukraine is accepted into NATO, it will bring the war to a close... maybe... I'll leave it there, Charlie...

Sgt (Join to see) IMHO Putin is against the ropes & the least little thing will push him over the edge to start shooting off nukes. Right now if Ukraine is admitted into NATO while they are at war it'll automatically trigger article five, and we will be in WW3. After twenty years of war I don't think our "leaders" want us to get into another one. One that could easily lead to the end of the world, if it stayed conventional we might but I think Putin is lookin' for any excuse to "push the button".
