I never knew George Harrison was the The Beatle who wrote the song Taxman.
President Biden may not have a 95% tax rate but he's sure going to make it painful to the average American citizen who may get rental income or other income over $600 and then get flagged by the IRS because of hiring five divisions or 75,000 IRS agents so they can take money from us along with his carbon taxes ( the US EPA is proposing them and Canada already has them and it's going up every year) and other taxes he's putting into the system that he claims wouldn't affect those making under $400,000 but now he wants to give 20 billion dollars to bribe Indonesia to get away from coal as a BS reparations.
The US government cannot bribe other countries to get away from fossil fuels and charge our own people by Biden's big government socialism taxes to pay other countries to transition away when fossil fuels are more efficient than wind and solar energy.
We already saw how the island nation of Sri Lanka had a revolution because its government forced them into natural fertilizer and their crop yields went down 50%. Riots by farmers forced their Prime Minister to flee the country by military aircraft.
I can imagine a country like Brazil getting away from fossil fuels and having a similar revolution because the very poor needs to rely on propane, gasoline and Diesel.
This 1960s song is very appropriate today because lower taxes increase income overall to the federal government but we know damn well that this Administration doesn't know the first thing about finance and economics 101 that I learned at Cypress College back when I was a teenager.
President and Democrats with no economics experience, big government socialism sucks and you are ruining our economy and trying to bring Equity to the world at the expense of our own equity and you are being unfair!
President Clinton did a much better job in his second term by lowering taxes and almost balancing the budget. He also didn't raise taxes during a recession and he actually put National Guard on the US border. He didn't want to bring in illegal aliens to be your de facto Democrats. You talk about danger to democracy yet you endanger democracy with your stupid ideas and policies!

No democrat politician and very few republican politicians give a damn about deficits. To them, our pockets are limitless

LTC (Join to see) Good share! Clinton did actually balance the budget one year. However, one year of balancing did little good for fifty years of running deficits! It can be done but politicians don't seem to care since they will not be around to pay for it in years to come.

LTC Trent Klug - I think voters care but what choice do we really have? Both sides are guilty of running up the national debt. At this point unless we really get someone in there with a backbone to stop the overspending we are doomed.

Cpl Vic Burk I'm of the opposite mind. The voters have figured out they are getting free stuff since only about half of citizens pay taxes. If everyone had skin in the game tax wise, they might elect lawmakers who cared about not deficit spending.
