The Army announced a new recruiting referral program Monday afternoon aimed to inspire soldiers to refer friends and family in return for ribbons and accelerated promotions.
The Soldier Referral Program pilot comes in the wake of a recruiting slump that saw the Army end fiscal 2022 at an estimated 20,000 troops under its authorized end strength.

The Army announced a new recruiting referral program Monday afternoon aimed to inspire soldiers to refer friends and family in return for ribbons and accelerated promotions.

They need more bodies in the pipeline so their part of the " budget" doesn't get cut.

It would seem to be almost reflex to rescind the " Up or Out" policies in all services . But, i guess ol' Joe is losing those type of "reflex actions".

So we promote them up to E-4 early and add more award bloat and then count it for the same as an achievement medal (meaning we just increase the promotion point threshold by as much as 10 point to offset that)? Well, I guess that is a job well done. Everything will be fine. Just keep swimming people; Army's in good hands.
