Thanks for sharing, she should be smart enough to know that saying something can be used against you even if it has no relation to your occupation.

While I know my thoughts are not appreciated by some, I believe they must be said. In my opinion while it’s good to have diversity, equity and inclusion in any organization, it’s bad to have diversity, equity and inclusion policies in any organization. Why? Because when you have diversity, equity and inclusion policies for an organization that means your that organization is picking winners and losers basically by a person’s skin color, gender, and/or binary role.

Now what is the definition of systemic racism: discrimination or unequal treatment on the basis of membership in a particular ethnic group (typically one that is a minority or marginalized), arising from systems, structures, or expectations that have become established within society or an institution

My point is that no one can solve racism with more racism. While some advocating for these diversity, equity and inclusion policies may have good intentions, way too many are using these policies to divide our people… and we all know “And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand”.

Some try to debate the following words of a great man to justify these new racist policies: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
Myself, I believe these words stand by themselves without comments from anyone else. He stands alone.
