Nearly two-thirds of young disabled veterans faced significant financial problems in the past year despite improving employment prospects for the group, according to a new report released by the Wounded Warrior Project on Wednesday.

Wow.
To put that in perspective, a recent poll by Gallup* last year (though September of 2022) said that 55% of Americans were facing hardships (compared to the WWP's 80% for wounded vets) and that 13% were facing severe hardships (i.e., can't make ends meet - compared to the WWP's 66% for wounded vets).
