The article is based on a flawed premise. Reservists and Guardsmen are not nonprofessional Soldiers. They are professionals with all the same training, and are counted as part of the total standing force package.
Simply put, they are not militia. Any subsequent research or argument stemming forth from said flawed premise is inherently likewise flawed.
