I just have one question. Patton commanded the 304th Tank Brigade, formerly the 1st Provisional Tank Brigade. What happened to Tank Brgades 1 through 303? Enquiring minds you know.

They did away with the early numbers and skipped to 301-304. Don't ask me why. They never gave a reason. . . .

It seems like he learned the Art of tank warfare during WWI real good Brother Dale. Then he finalized the Art in WWII.
